Terms of Service
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of Prufling, an independent online service that provides German exam practice and AI-generated readiness feedback for the Goethe B1 and telc B1 formats. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Prufling.
2. What Prufling is — and is not
Prufling is an independent learning tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by telc gGmbH or the Goethe-Institut. All exercises are independently created practice tests in the respective exam format; they are not official exam materials, and completing them does not register you for, or substitute for, any official examination.
3. AI feedback is an estimate
Writing, speaking, and overall readiness assessments are generated by automated models and are estimates for practice purposes only. They are not official scores and do not guarantee any exam result. We make no promise that you will pass any exam. Decisions about booking or sitting an exam are yours alone.
4. Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity under it. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use paid features. Provide accurate information.
5. Acceptable use
Use Prufling for your own exam preparation. Do not resell, scrape, or redistribute the content; do not attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to build a competing dataset or product. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
6. Payments
Prices are shown in the app and may vary by country. During launch, paid plans may not yet be available in every market; where they are, payment terms and the refund policy shown at purchase apply. We may change prices for future billing periods with notice.
7. Content and intellectual property
The practice content, software, and brand are owned by the operator of Prufling or its licensors. Text you submit for scoring remains yours; you grant us the limited right to process it to provide feedback, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and changes
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during this early stage, without warranties of uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
