A Modellsatz is one complete practice exam. Each telc B2 Modellsatz takes one task for every Teil of every module, so no task repeats across the 8 Modellsätze.

Official pass rule: at least 135 of 225 points in the written part and at least 45 of 75 in the oral part (60% in each). The Modelltest shows your result per module as a percentage next to the 60% line. Full telc B2 exam guide.
How the scoring works
- Automatic scoring. Answers in the question modules are checked as soon as you submit, and you see the correct answer for every question.
- Schreiben. You type your text in the time limit. The AI scores it against the exam criteria and explains what to fix.
- Sprechen. Each Teil gives you a task card (24 cards for telc B2 in total). You record your answer and the AI scores it and explains what to fix.

How to use the telc B2 Modelltest
- Do Modellsatz 1 under exam conditions: no dictionary, no pauses, audio played once or twice as in the exam.
- Find the Teile where you lose the most points and practise them in the library.
- Take the next Modellsatz a week later and compare the results module by module.
- Register for the exam once your results are above 60% in every module on several different Modellsätze.

Is the telc B2 Modelltest free?
Modellsatz 1 is free in full, together with the first task of every Teil in the practice library and 3 AI checks of Schreiben or Sprechen a month. Modellsätze 2–8, the full library and 40 AI checks a month come with Pro: 49 000 so'm for 30 days or 129 000 so'm for 90 days.
Are these the official telc B2 papers?
No. They are original tasks written to the official format: the same Teile, task types and timing. Prufling is independent and not affiliated with the Goethe-Institut or telc gGmbH, and a Modelltest score is an estimate, not a certificate.
In which language is the AI feedback?
In Uzbek, English or Russian, whichever you choose. The tasks themselves are in German, as in the exam.
Does the telc B2 Modelltest include Sprachbausteine?
Yes. Every Modellsatz has both Sprachbausteine Teile (grammar and vocabulary gap texts) with 20 questions, scored automatically like Lesen and Hören. In the real exam Sprachbausteine shares the 90-minute block with Leseverstehen.
